Professional with prior arrest record arrested for domestic violence gets case completely dismissed

Lance’s client, who we successfully defended in another older matter, retained Lance again for another issue with a former romantic partner. In the new case, our client was accused of striking the complainant about the body and choking the complainant. The police were called but our client left before they arrived. At a later time, our client went to the police and surrendered. Our client contacted us for help. We fought the case arguing insufficient injury to warrant a conviction and because our client had been having problems as a result of the complainant’s prior bad acts against our client. After several months of litigation, Lance obtained a complete and total dismissal of all charges. Case sealed off of our client’s criminal record.
