Lance’s client was arrested for allegedly taking property that had belonged to our client’s former domestic partner. Traditionally, domestic violence cases were thought of as involving violence but this has been changing. Even property crimes, when committed against a romantic partner, may end up being heard in a domestic violence courtroom as this case was.
