Our client was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. She was arrested too for assaulting our client. Before consulting with us, our client’s lawyer dropped the charges against his girlfriend which resulted in a more difficult situation for our client. Additionally, our client faced immigration issues if convicted. Fortunately, our client was referred to us by another attorney and upon meeting with him, we were able to devise a strategy to get his case dismissed. It took several trips to court but by fighting his case out, we were able to identify several errors in the prosecutor’s case which, upon being pressed, allowed us to get it dismissed with no criminal record.
