Central Park Exposure / lewdness charges dismissed

Our client was allegedly observed engaging in a sexual act with another person in Central Park. He was arrested for lewdness and exposure and charged in criminal court. Since it was observed by the police, the case against him was a strong one. During the case evaluation, we collected important information about our client’s past and information about things that happened during the arrest and during the first court appearance. With this information, we contacted the prosecutor to work out a better outcome that what they originally had in store for him. After a few months of litigation, we were able to resolve things with a guilty plea only to the reduced and added charge of disorderly conduct, a non-criminal violation, no jail, and no criminal record.
